About me

“She remembered who she was, and the game changed”

Hi, thank you for stopping by. My name is Cindy Williams, I am 57 years young, the mother of 3 adult children and 5 amazing grandkids (my greatest role and joy in life). After a 26-year career with government, I retired in 2017, sold my house and moved to Chico CA. Feeling a little lost in this new phase of life, I soon began the journey of discovering what I wanted to do and who I wanted to be in my second half of life. I went back to school and received an image consultant certificate, opened a styling business, own a skincare business and I am currently in the process of receiving my life coach certificate.

I have a lifetime of experience, trials and tribulations, self-development, and growth under my belt and I believe this experience can help women in midlife rediscover their authentic self and love their second half of life.

As a life coach, I can help women identify the gap between where they are and where they want to be, and I can guide them towards reaching their goals and dreams. I offer a complimentary 30-minute coaching session—no obligation, it is a coaching session where you bring a topic, we find some strategies and action items and if we are a fit, we can talk about working together. You can schedule this free session at http://www.cindywilliamscoaching.com

What is a Life Coach?

The International Coach Federation defines coaching as:
“P
artnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.”

My responsibility as your coach is to:

  • Letting you determine the agenda/topic for your sessions
  • Asking open-ended, direct questions
  • Holding you accountable in a way that works for you
  • Assisting with setting goals, planning, and strategizing
  • Offering perspectives, options and suggestions (not advice) to raise your awareness and help you find your own solutions
  • Upholding the highest professional standards and ethical guidelines (everything is kept confidential!)

Your role (the client):

·         Bringing an agenda/topic to each session

·         Being ready to fully engage and being present

·         Being responsible for your own feelings, decisions, actions and success

·         Asking clarifying questions

“You are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream.” C.S. Lewis
